Inspiration

"Nobody cares about the technology. It is easier. Now you have auto-focus. It is becoming very difficult to make a bad picture, very difficult. But who cares about technology. Did he use digital? Did he use film? Who cares?" is his response. "If Stanley Greene is using the same camera as you or I, he will make a better picture, because he has the eye. I can say that because I was such a bad photographer. The most important thing is the way you look."

From Jim Merithew's interview with Jean Francois Leroy, creator of Visa Pour L'Image. Its nice to hear this from someone who has been around to see all of the changes.

And Now For Something Completely Different

I never got to finish this when I was in California, so this is where it will stand. In Thousand Oaks, there is a small cigar and whiskey bar that rolls their own, if you will. Daniel here works there three days a week keeping them stocked. Unfortunately, we never could get a time together for a formal interview. I put together a nice tune and published it with iMovie, which is far inferior to Final Cut....don't even get me started. Anyway, enjoy!
