We went to the coast over Halloween weekend with plans of surfing. Instead, we walked the beaches and the jetty with 20+ mph winds and an unbelievable amount of rain. More pictures to follow.

Tiffany+Karma, Married, Odd Fellows Hall, Eastsound, Orcas Island, WA
I love the San Juans. I have been fortunate to have been invited up to Orcas to photograph every year and it has been great seeing the island differently with each trip. Sitting up at the end of the straight of juan de fuca, they provide the setting for a perfect little getaway from Seattle or a perfect little destination wedding without going too far from Seattle.
Tiffany and Karma had a beautiful wedding on the back deck of the Odd Fellows Hall. I was out and about early scouting out some portrait locations, so we had our choice of some nice spots for right outside of the Wisteria Cottage and around the High School. The Hall was looking great! They did almost all of the detail work themselves, making the 1000 paper cranes hanging from the ceiling even more impressive.
