The Olympic Peninsula with Florence and Joel, Olympic National Park, WA

My parents decided this summer was the big one. They managed a trip out to see Jamie and I, a week in Vancouver with their college crew (or, as PHG would say, the Thompson Lane Times), and a week in NYC with my older sister. With their time out here, my pop and I decided we need to get out of town and go see the Olympic Peninsula. We spent some time in the Hoh rain forest and out on the coast at Rialto Beach. It was great to get away and make some pictures for the sake of making pictures. Two days, one car wash, one fuel tank scare, some good meals and not so good meals, and many, many cheesy jokes later, we made it back to Seattle.

Brianna+Michael, Married, Olympic Sculpture Park, Canlis, Seattle, WA

Brianna and Michael were married in a small ceremony at Canlis, overlooking Lake Union and northeast Seattle. We began the day photographing them in front of my favorite public art in town, Richard Serra's Wake. From there, we made our way up Queen Anne to Canlis. During twilight, the owners invited us on to the roof to make some unique portraits with Brianna and Michael. Enjoy!
