The sounders had their very first playoff game and I was lucky enough to be treated by a friend of mine. I showed up early to see the march to the match, a ritual that has grown with the team all season. There is a band that marches with folks and then these guys pictured below, which are kind of the hooligan sect and they do their own thing.
I wish I could have been to more games to see if this one was standard, however I kind of feel they stepped it up. Too bad the team couldn't deliver the W. Hopefully they pull it out on Sunday.
This first season has really plugged the void of not having an NBA team, although this winter may be unbearably long. Regardless, I am looking forward to next season!
